Aside from editorial services, I also offer mentoring, synopsis reviews and online courses.
Writing can be a solitary business. You come up with the perfect idea and dedicate your time to getting it written, but what then? Is it any good? Would it sell? It’s hard to know when it’s our own - after all everyone thinks their baby is beautiful. And so they should!
But we all need support, a champion who will see our vision the way we do. And that’s where I come in. I can read your work in progress, or finished novel and put together an action plan. What’s needed? Does it start in the right place? Is the central character celebrated? It’s my job to read your work and to listen to what you need. I can then offer help and mentoring to get your work to where it needs to be.
So, whether you’re struggling to start, suffering with writer’s block, or you’ve reached the end and don’t know what to do next - get in touch, and I can help.
And then comes the dreaded synopsis. All agents ask for one, and they are the bane of most writers’ lives. However, I can help. I’ve written lots for myself, and even more for others. It takes a certain type of eye and endless practice to get it right.
If you’ve managed to produce one, but not sure it’s quite right, then send it over and I’ll happily review and edit.
Or, if you just can’t face it, then I offer an all-in-one service. You send me your novel, I read it and create a submission ready synopsis for you.

I’ve been teaching for over 15 years, so have an endless list of exercises to help you with everything from character, to plot, to dialogue.
