It’s simple. You get in touch by phone, email or using my contact form and we go from there.
I will ask you for some basic info, word count, genre etc. then I’ll give you a quote for a full edit, or whatever service you’re looing for.
See my manuscript editing page for further details.

All I really need is your genre and word count, and a sample of your writing.
Once I have that, I will sort a quote for you based on how many hours I think the edit, proofread etc. will take.
-
If you sign up to the six week course, I will provide you with handouts for each session.
Each session will have writing exercises focussing on the particular topic.
Once you’ve completed the exercises, you can then email them to me, and I will review and provide feedback.
You can either have all 6 handouts in one go - or I can stagger them as you complete/get feedback on each session.
If you decide to buy individual sessions, then again, you can send me your completed exercises and I will provide edits and feedback.
I would ask that all docs are sent in Word format with a readable font.

I offer flexible pricing based on project type and complexity.
After an initial conversation, I’ll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs.
My standard rates are £35 per hour for editing & £25 per hour for proofreading, but I can provide a detailed quote, with no hidden costs.
For my writing courses it’s £180 for the 6 week course, or £35 per session.

The simple answer is yes. I ask for a 10% deposit on edits, to hold time in my diary. However, I am very flexible.
I understand writing is not a fixed art - you let me know when you’re ready and I’ll be there.

I combine a thoughtful and experienced approach with clear communication. I’m honest and straightforward, and easy to talk to.
I will champion your work, and help you become the best writer you can be.
