"Clare is passionate about writing, but editing is her obsession.”

After 10 years in London, working for a City law firm, Clare moved back to her home town in Somerset to undertake an MA in creative writing at Bath Spa University. The initial chapters of NEVER LOOK BACK, her first novel, were longlisted for the CWA Debut Dagger award. She went on to publish a further three novels in the Lockyer & Bennett series with Pan Macmillan.

She is currently working on her new novel, whilst also teaching & running two long-running book clubs.
